| - Spanish Rosewow....i haven't been on this in over a month. my how time flys....the musical is over. friday was definitely the better night for cast a. everything went really well. lets see what else happened.....spring break was ok, nothing exciting. kd has once again filled my life between the parade, characters, and meet the nicktoons...what a joy as always. ap tests are mostly over. at our last show choir comp we got 3rd in illusion and 2nd in elegance...i think illusion got best choreo and elegance got best costumes. prom was AMAZING...i can't believe thats already over. what else....oh went to uva for day on the lawn and i can't wait to go..its going to be awesome. yeah thats pretty much it. tonight i get to go see cast b of the musical and tomorrow bud and i are going to see Mamma Mia at the Landmark! i'm sooo excited! well, i'm off... | | |
| i can't believe that it's been a month since my last entry! so much has happened since then. manchester comp was horrible as usual, both groups getting nothing...which was expected. chicago trip was absolutely amazing! there are no other words to describe it. there are so many things that i could talk about but it would just take waaaay too long. both groups went to finals and elegance finished 5th and illusion 6th and bud and john were solo finalists and bud got the best male solo for havin' a hunch. kings dominion parade and character escorting is in full swing..just say hello to the blue house monica and brenna. musical practice is also in full swing, 4 days a week. we had the lee davis comp...wow...absolutely the best way to almost finish out our last show choir season. elegance got best vocals *yay!* and best costumes and 1st!! and then illusion got best show design and 1st!! two wins in two nights...it was amazing..but not completely.  "you don't know what you've got til its gone"...very true. i've definitely learned that these last two weeks..... | | |
| - WOW! this has been such an amazing weekend!!! friday was fun...musical auditions and then pura vida twice in one day...girls night plus jerry was amazing and then chilling with bud. saturday was the chorus competition! wow i love powhatan/clover hill. bud and i went early to take over the drums and then the amp. i was sooo psyched about the competition. i absolutely love show choir competitions!! in the end, elegance got 2nd, with best show design and best choreography and i got the showmanship award for the first time ever! then illusion went...and we were feeling a little bummed about it because the mics weren't on, etc, but then we got 3rd!! and bud and sara d. got showmanship...so it was definitely a great day! sunday i recovered from the late night and went out to dinner with the fam, friends, bud, and jason. then today was no school...equally exciting. and then bud and i were going to go to kd to sign stuff, but then my mom wouldn't let me drive. so i ended up going to his voice lesson, and come to find out, his teachers' boyfriend (which is awkward enough as it is) ends up being my elementary school music teacher!!! it was the weirdest thing!! so bud and jim are in the room singing and me and mr hicks are chilling in the family room talking...talk about weird and ironic! but yeah so we get to kd and its closed for "weather" even though it was just raining. so that quality time w/ mr hicks was just the extra little thing i got from today! then i went home and finished up some stuff. what a great unexpected 3 day weekend! oh.......and the musical!!! ahhh!!! later | | |
| - oh snow...thank you for getting me out of environmental science today. tomorrow is friday and saturday is our first chorus comp! i'm sooo excited, i hope that we do really well there, i just want to know that all of our work has paid off this time. i'm auditioning for the musical tomorrow if we have school. that's something i wish i would have done more of at atlee, i mean i did all the plays in middle school, chorus all the way through, and even plays in like elementary school, but between my classes and show choir i've never been able to pull it off. but this year i'm going to do it! haha we'll see how that goes...on a different note i'm babysitting tonight, which is really weird b/c i haven't done this in soooo long. well, i'm out, maybe i'll see everyone tomorrow! | | |
| what an amazing weekend! bud said what we've all been thinking today...everything is just flying by so fast. i can't believe that its spring! friday i went to java jive and then to matt b's house and hung out w/ autumn sarah matt aubrey and bud...i got to stay until like one and watch this crazy movie. don't remember the name. then saturday was the last day at build a bear! it was glorious! no more! check out the pics on brenna's webshots. then bud and i watched secret window...yet another crazy movie that i really didn't understand. sunday i slept through church...yet again. my mom woke me up, fell asleep, bud called and told me about wills mullet, fell asleep again, and then woke up to my mom saying wow guess you didn't make it. then it was family night b/c it was my granddad's birthday and their anniversary. o'charley's was the spot. then it was time for the notebook, the best movie EVER! i love that movie! it was girls night plus bud and scott. uva was amazing on monday! i love it so much up there. it was def better for me and scott b/c we're going there...but i'm sure bud autumn sarah and alli all had fun too. charlottesville and my COBBLESTONE road were fun, too bad we couldn't go ice skating. i went and deposited money today which was fun, and yeah i labeled stuff in chorus. equally enjoyable. well i'm out...what a great weekend.... | | |
